Department of Bioanalytical Sciences
The Department of Bioanalytical Sciences at B. K. Birla College (Autonomous), Kalyan was established in 2007 with the aim to provide one of the best Professional course to students, thereby increasing their employability. The objective of the course is to Trained Manpower in the field of Bio-analytical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Industries. It is multidisciplinary course which combines classroom-based education with practical work experience. The department is flourished with good infrastructureincludes spacious classroom with departmental Library. The experiment lab is divided into2 areas, preparation room and Wet Laboratory. Also separate The Instrumentation laboratory which is well equipped with basics and high-end instruments.

To build a foundation for development and excellence of the students by igniting and nurturing enthusiasm, interests and passion, in the subject, so as to prepare them tocompete and contribute to the technology- centered and ever-changing world of Pharmaceutical Sciences. We strive to be a nationally and internationally recognized premier Centre of Excellence in Teaching, Research and Entrepreneurial Training in Pharmaceutical Sciences particularly Bioanalytical Sciences.
Mission

- To Foster multi-disciplinary curriculum and independent study experiences that span the traditional areas of science (Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Traditional Medicine, Toxicology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, etc.) as well as the interdisciplinary frontiers. • To accentuate critical thinking and problem-solving skills in order to better prepare our students for various career paths in Pharmaceutical industry, academia, and government agencies.
