- 12th Science with Biology and Mathematics (Note: Students without mathematics subject in 12th will have to attend and pass 15 hrs Biostatistics and Mathematics course conducted by the Department for eligibility).
- An exit is available after the 3rd year. Students are awarded a B.Sc. (Biotechnology) degree if they opt out after three years.
