






M.Sc. Environmental Sciences is a 2-year postgraduate programme that provides advanced study of environmental systems, sustainability, and resource management through an interdisciplinary approach. The curriculum covers ecosystem dynamics, environmental pollution and control, climate change, biodiversity conservation, environmental impact assessment, waste management, renewable energy, and environmental policy and legislation. Graduates pursue careers as environmental consultants, sustainability managers, pollution control officers, conservation scientists, and policy analysts in government, industry, NGOs, and research organisations.
The Postgraduate Course in Environmental Science was introduced at B. K. Birla College in the academic year 2003–04.
