Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at B. K. Birla College was established in the year 2003 as per the guidelines set by NAAC. It plays a catalyst and works towards achieving quest for excellence in education. At B. K. Birla College, we understand that quality assurance is the cornerstone of a thriving educational institution. Our IQAC is dedicated to fostering a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and accountability. Through this platform, we invite you to explore our relentless pursuit of quality in education, our vision, mission, objectives, and the various quality enhancement initiatives. IQAC has been instrumental in conducting regular quality audits, scholarly lecture series, implementing sustainability and green initiatives, faculty development programs, student enrichment activities, etc. to ensure that B. K. Birla College remains a dynamic and progressive centre of learning.

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) plays a pivotal role in the preparation of both perspective plans and strategic plans for institutional growth and development. It helps chart a course for the future, guiding the institution in aligning its efforts with its core values and mission.
Some of the functions expected of the IQAC are:

a) Development and application of quality benchmarks.
b) Parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
c) Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.
d) Collection and analysis of feedback from all stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
e) Dissemination of information on various quality parameters to all stakeholders.
f) Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.
g) Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement.
h) Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.
i) Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of
maintaining /enhancing the institutional quality
J) Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audit and its follow-up.
k) Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC.
IQAC's role in creating perspective plans involves assessing the current academic landscape, identifying areas that need improvement, and devising strategies to enhance the quality of education and overall institutional effectiveness. Perspective plans are instrumental in determining resource allocation.

IQAC's preparation of perspective and strategic plans at B. K. Birla College serves as a roadmap for the institution's journey towards academic excellence, helping it adapt to changing educational landscapes, and ensuring that it remains a leading institution in the field of higher education.

IQAC maintains open channels of communication with various stakeholders to receive feedback on curriculum, teaching learning and evaluation process and on facilities available on the campus. Feedback received is analysed and ATR is prepared to implement the suggestions received for quality sustenance.
