About the Placement Cell

The Placement Cell of B. K. Birla College (Autonomous), Kalyan aims at bridging the gap between campus to corporate. The cell plays an important role in locating various job opportunities for both the graduates and the postgraduates passing out of the college. The placement cell acts as a connecting point between the industries and the students. It operates throughout the year to facilitate the placements.

The placement cell assures complete support to the visiting companies at every stage of the placement process by making college infrastructure available to them. Relevant details about the students are shared with these visiting companies for further recruitment process. Once the students are shortlisted by the companies, they further conduct tests and/or interviews at the campus. The placement cell facilitates the selection process of all the companies as per their requirement and provides assistance at every step in the recruitment process.

The cell also ensures that the students are trained to help them make a successful transition from the college to the corporate life. There are various training programs for the first year, second year and the third-year students and the post graduates students too. Objectives
  • To provide placement process awareness to first year students.
  • To train the students to develop skills to meet the industries recruitment process
  • To provide recruitment opportunities to students.
  • To maintain good relations with the recruiters.
  • To facilitate the placement process
  • To build the bridge between industry and academia.
  • To act as a link between students, alumni and the employment community.
  • To assist the students in the final placement process in reputed companies through on-campus and off-campus drives.
