Science Unaided Environmental Science

Three Gold medallists at the University level, more than ten students cleared national and state level eligibility test (NET/ SET), Prizes won at National and International Seminars and Conferences for Oral and Poster Presentations.

Mr. Reyhan Motiwala from M.Sc. Part II secured Third rank with a Funding of Rs. 25,000/- at 16th Aavishkar, Maharashtra State Inter-University Research Convention 2023-24, held at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, between January, 12-15, 2024. His Research Project title was ‘Biodiversity Crisis due to Urbanization (A Case Study of Snake Population Dispersal)’ in Pure Sciences.

Mr. Akash Wankhede from M.Sc. Part II cleared Zonal Round at  18th Avishkar: Inter-Collegiate/ Institute/ Department Research Convention (Zonal Round) on December 7, 2023. His Research Project title was ‘Desalination of Water’ in Pure Sciences category

·        FDP: Completed one week Faculty Development Programme on “Research Method and Research Design” from 14 - 20 August 2023 with Grade A+. from Ramanujan College, University of Delhi, in collaboration with Barama College Barama, Assam under the aegis of Ministry of Education Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission On Teachers and Teaching.

·        Mentored our student Mr. Motiwala Reyhan Sahir who secured Third Rank for a research project titled ‘Biodiversity Crisis due to Urbanisation (A case study of Snake Population Dispersal)’ in Pure Sciences category at PG Level presented at the 16th AVISHKAR: Maharashtra State Inter University Research Convention: 2023-24 between January 12- 15 2024.
